Nmbrs® API is improved! After version 1, version 2 offers extended security, better naming conventions and, most important, a lot more features! Starting from version 2, it is possible to use SingleSignOn to let your application log users into Nmbrs®.
Nmbrs® API is now forcing users over secure connection, so sent and received data is secure and the server is authenticated. Also we now ask you to login using an API-token, which is available in Nmbrs® controlpanel > integration.
All functions now available in the Nmbrs® API are named uniform, the new name contains the linked dashlet name and action for this dashlet. For example Department_Insert or Function_GetList.
As an attachment you will find a list of all available functions, grouped by level and including the old Nmbrs® API 1.0 function name. As you will find in this list, it is now possible at company level to get journals in XML format per run.
